Nr. 1 · Born to be wild

Cyr Wheel Artist from Munich No grip, no rope, just momentum

A metal ring a little taller than me. I stand inside it, set it rolling and keep it moving with nothing but my body.

Born to be wild is high energy with a great atmosphere in the room. It makes the women’s hearts beat faster, and the men get plenty to marvel at too.

About The person inside the ring

I am Chris, a circus artist from Munich. I started out in gymnastics and parkour. When my shoulder stopped playing along, I ended up in the wheel, because it is easy on the joints.

I am one of the driving forces behind Pepe Dome, a 10 metre high dome in Munich’s Ostpark that gives the city’s circus scene a permanent home. I perform there regularly and sit on the board. Otherwise I am often on the road: at trade fairs, in city halls and at private parties.

At Pepe Dome I also teach a weekly class and workshops.
